Handmade Indian Kantha placemats

Kantha is a traditional Indian textile technique known for its layered fabrics, colourful patterns and characteristic visible stitching.

Each placemat features its own combination of colours and motifs. Slight variations are part of the charm of handcrafted textiles and give the set its distinctive character.

Reversible placemats – two sides, two looks

These Kantha placemats are reversible, allowing you to simply turn them over to reveal a different side, new patterns and another combination of colours.

Use the same side for a coordinated table setting or mix and match the different faces to create a more personal and colourful look.

For a colourful bohemian table

Pink, orange and floral patterns come together to bring warmth and personality to everyday meals, family lunches and relaxed dinners with friends.

Pair these Indian Kantha placemats with vintage tableware, colourful glasses, a linen tablecloth or antique French linens to create a table full of charm and character.
